コロナ禍におけるミサ中止の際の京都教区の用語の方針

公開ミサ（Public Mass）と、非公開ミサ（PrivateMass）の意味について、

　　公開ミサとは、信徒が参加するミサ、

　　非公開ミサとは、信徒が参加しないで、司祭が個人的に行うミサ、

という考えかたです。

注：①主日のミサが「公開ミサ」で、週日のミサが「非公開ミサ」という意味では

　　ありません。主日でも、週日でも、ミサ中止の際は、上記の考え方です。

　　②外部から不特定多数の信徒が参加しない「修道院」でのミサについては、

　　ミサ中止期間でも、司祭はミサを行うことができます。

A Public Mass is one celebrated with a congregation.

A Private Massis onecelebratedwithouta congregation.

Note：①“Public Mass”does notmean Sunday Massand”PrivateMass”does notmean

　　　Mass on a weekday.When Masses in the Kyoto Dioceseare suspended, the

　　　terms “Public Mass”and “Private Mass”are used with these meanings.

　　　②In religious houses (convents, monasteries, etc.) Mass may be celebrated

　　　during the suspension only if peoplefrom outside that community do not take part.
